The Festival Competition is getting a makeover with new categories.
In total, there are 3 categories proposed by the Festival's organizing committee.
Wild Gaze:
At the Namur Nature Festival, we have always been touched by the animal gaze. So we decided to make it a Signature category of the Festival. A Gaze that freezes us in time, that grabs us by the gut!
This category concerns the entire animal kingdom. It is the gaze that matters for this category. It must create an emotion in the viewer.
Movement:
With this category, we want to find the dynamism of an image, feel the force of the action thanks to the shot.
This category concerns the entire animal and plant kingdom and can include landscapes. The expression of movement, of action must be visible.
Light:
Golden hour, chiaroscuro, play of light, flashes, ... We want to have a great view!
This category concerns the entire animal and plant kingdom and can include landscapes. Light and play of light are essential in this category.
More Information
In addition to these 3 categories, the jury will elect the Grand Prix of the Festival and the public will designate the Public Prize which will be announced during the Gala evening on Saturday October 18, 2025.
Registration is subject to a fee.
