Amateur film competition 2025
The period for submitting films for the 2025 amateur film competition is open from February 1 to May 31, 2025. Registration for this competition is free and can be done online on this page.

The 31st edition of the Namur International Nature Festival will take place from October 11 to October 19, 2025. For 9 days, it offers a selection of films devoted to nature, wildlife and the environment in optimal screening conditions :

As part of these public screenings, the Festival organizes a competition dedicated to amateur films. A competition allows amateur filmmakers* to submit their films to this competition.
​
In this category, the maximum length of films is 5 minutes.
​
By participating in this competition, the filmmaker demonstrates his interest in nature and the environment and demonstrates respectful behavior towards animal or plant species.
​
COACHING: A coaching committee set up by PointCulture will view, on request, the finalized or unfinished film projects which have been submitted by Sunday March 15, 2025 at midnight at the latest. This committee will offer advice to improve the film projects with a view to their final submission before the close of the submission period.
